The Strategies

SAMP recognizes that not all farmers can or want to be seed producers. To access quality seed, farmers need access to capital which may be obtained from output sales which in turn is envisaged to stimulate the input markets. The five main Strategies developed are founded on four key Pillars:

  1. Strengthening Seed Production
  2. Capacity Building of different stakeholders, public and private sectors
  3. Kick-starting input and output Markets
  4. Knowledge Into Use
