Swaziland (SAMP) farmers produce 32 Mts of Maize seed

28 October 2012 In the 2011/12 season, farmers in the Ngwempisi are produced 32 Mts of ZM 521 OPV maize. This was procured by Farm Chemicals Swaziland and has now been packaged, ready for sale in the coming season. Foundation seed for this production was sourced from CIMMYT under the NSIMA programme. Zaka Super Seeds exports Seed to Zambia

Swiss Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Visits Zaka

16 October 2012 The Swiss delegation led by the Secretary of State Yves Rossier’s visited various SDC supported projects in Zaka district, on Sunday the 14th of October. Part of the visit included the Seeds and Markets Project where they viewed activities under the Community Seed Production component. The delegation was taken through the processing stages by Mr Mapfumo the Zaka Super Seeds processing Plant Operations Manager.
